There have been many photos that have come from individual's Ironman experiences throughout the years. We have all seen these photos and, of course, they are all very special. I have a collection of Ironman photos from myself, my friends, athletes, and patients. But, this is one of the best that I have seen in a very long time.
This is Karl at the end of Ironman Canada 2007 (his first) on his way to a 12:11 finish. His wife snapped this photo of basically the instant when Karl saw his kids about 50 feet from the finish line.
Not much else to say, other than Karl really loved training and doing Ironman...
But obviously not as much as he loves his family!
