This week’s HomeWork is a review of a HomeWork from a few weeks ago.
It is such a good one, that I feel it is worth repeating. And no, I did not
run out of ideas, I have a list that get’s longer everyday.
There are a couple worth repeating, I believe; the 100 day challenge – which
by the way, is still going on for a lot of people, and the writing down 3
(or was it 5?) goals: 1 month, 3 month, and 6 month, (plus 1 year and 5
year?) everyday.
But this week’s review is the “Take Back 4:20 Club” HomeWork.
Set an alarm to go off each day this week at 4:19 pm. That will give you 1
minute to get prepared (stop what you are doing, get up from your desk, find
some open space) for 4:20. At 4:20 pm you will perform 1 minute of physical
activity. Whatever you like:
Sit absolutely silent and count your deep breathes
Jumping Jacks
Push Ups
Walk
Run
Hop
Scorpions
Deadlifts
Sing
Hang from a bar
Spin around in your chair
Throw a frisbee
Walk around in circles in the grass/turf in bare feet (my personal favorite)
For many of us, this will be a review, or a re-confirmation of something we
are already doing. For the new people, try this and see what you think.
You too may find it a nice break in your day and keep doing it beyond this
week.
Have a great sunny week,
MRoss
P.S.
For those of you who decided to follow/watch Girls High School Softball this
week (I sent my proxy on Saturday to the 3A Finals) you already know this
news. For the rest of you, I am happy to report that the Bainbridge
Spartans, featuring one of our HomeWork people’s daughter, beat out Holy
Names for the 3A State Championship!!!
Congratulations Spartans! And Congratulations Haylee Baker!
