Where have we been?
We have been nailing, sheetrocking, mudding, taping, sanding, painting, etc.
etc. on the new space!
So, excuse the long interruption between HomeWork emails...
We have built out a new room for our Acupuncturist, Massage Therapist, and
Physical Therapists!
Also, I don’t want you to become so immune to getting them every week that
you just have another item to fill up your “junk email” folder with!
So let’s get right to it!
This week’s HomeWork has two levels:
Intermediate and Advanced.
Both levels are comprised of the same ‘exercise’, the “Twist”.
This is movement #5 in our 7 (do I hear 8?) Basic Human Movements.
The ‘exercise’ is to do Standing Windmills, just like Jack Lalanne –RIP-
used to teach 50 years ago (or similar).
Here’s how:
Standing with your feet slightly wider than shoulder width,
Point your arms straight out from your body,
Bend at the waist and touch your right hand to your left shin area,
Return to standing,
Bend at the waist and touch your left hand to your right shin area,
Return to standing,
Repeat alternating on both sides for a combined total of 20 repetitions.
The Intermediate HomeWork is to do one set of 20 reps three times per day,
morning, midday, and evening.
The Advanced HomeWork is to do one set of 20 reps every hour that you are
awake.
Have a great week,
MRoss
P.S.
We are adding a “Noon DrTri/SODO CrossFit Endurance Conditioning” class to
our schedule this week. Actually it is 12:15 so that members have a chance
to get to class on time during lunch!
Class will still be 20-40min, so that members will also be able to get back
to work in roughly an hour.
Come check it out for free if you think you are interested!
Go to http://sodocrossfit.zenplanner.com to see the schedule and/or sign up!
I am sure you will catch Zeebuyth and Schumacher there!!!
