There was an article published recently that looked at 10 reasons why Americans are so out of shape.

And while this may not be all encompassing or the entire reason(s) why we are so obese, it is a really good look at 10 things that may contribute in some way either big or small.
So for the next 10 HomeWorks we will tackle these items, one by one, and see how much they really do impact our lifestyles.
So, without further adieu, here is the first of ten items.
Screen Time:
For 7 - 10 days, you decide, no use of your television. This means no AppleTV, no DVDs, no XBox, no sports, no cable, no nothing! on your television.
Unplug it.
Disconnect the cables from the back.
Hang a sheet on it.
Doesn't matter, just don't use it!
*(7-10 days depending on your own perception of how much use your television gets in a typical day or week. If 7 days seems too long then you probably need the full 10 days! If 10 days seems like a breeze because you can't recall the last time you watched television, then you are probably okay with just 7 days)
